How we compare kit brands
We sell gem art kits, so we are not an independent review site and we are not going to pretend otherwise. What we can promise is that everything we say about another brand is verifiable. This page explains how we do it.
Where the data comes from
- Every price, delivery window and shipping term is copied from that brand's own public website.
- Each comparison links to the source and shows the exact date we checked it.
- We do not use second-hand rumours, and we never claim anything about another brand's quality that cannot be read on their own site.
- Prices change. If a figure is out of date, tell us and we will correct it.
The five criteria
- What's in the box. Canvas type, gems sorted by colour, spare gems and the tools included.
- Real price. Kit plus shipping in the currency you actually pay, including framing when it is needed.
- Delivery. Where the parcel ships from and the window the brand publishes.
- Returns. The published window and whether statutory consumer protection applies.
- Who is behind it. Named people and a findable company, versus an anonymous storefront.
What we never do
- Invent flaws or attribute claims a brand has not published.
- Copy another brand's designs, photos or copy.
- Hide when the other brand is the better choice. Every comparison has a section dedicated to exactly that.
